Repair & Maintenance
ISO 9001 Certified—Because Quality Matters
We didn’t pursue ISO 9001 certification for recognition—we did it because we care about doing things the right way, every time.
This certification reflects the standards we hold ourselves to: consistent quality, disciplined processes, and a commitment to continually improving how we serve you.
What that means for you:
✔️ Reliable, consistent results you can count on
✔️ Faster turnaround with efficient, proven processes
✔️ Fewer errors and less downtime
✔️ A team focused on your equipment and your deadlines
We’re ready to take on your units now—whether it’s engine rebuilds, urgent repairs, or full equipment reconditioning. Our team is built to move quickly without sacrificing quality, so you can get back up and running faster.

Comprehensive Process
At FIP, our rigorous repair and refurbishment process is designed to restore your equipment to like-new condition—meeting or exceeding original performance standards.
Every project begins with a detailed conversation about the unit. We take the time to understand its history and performance by asking key questions:
Are issues recurring?
Is the equipment performing as designed?
Are design changes needed?
What failures occur, and under what conditions or climates?
How are the hydraulics performing? Do they require frequent repair?
Where are the high-maintenance areas or unexpected failure points?
Are there unusual noises, shifting, vibrations, or recurring loose components?
We also review additional considerations with the customer, including drains, cleanouts, injection points, process and measurement needs, winterization requirements, and any desired upgrades or component removals. Even small improvements—like enhanced work lighting—can significantly improve safety and efficiency in critical areas.
Before inspection and teardown, each unit undergoes a thorough cleaning, especially engines (top, bottom, and internal spaces), pumps, and hydraulic components. This step improves inspection accuracy, reduces repair time, and enhances overall quality.
Our technicians then perform a detailed visual inspection of all equipment, including frac pumps, blenders, and hydration units. Based on this assessment—and the level of refurbishment you choose—we develop a customized task plan outlining scope, labor hours, and recommended actions.
Expanded Facilities
We’re dedicated to offering the best refurb solutions for our customers. By expanding our services and facility production capabilities, we’re taking our commitment to another level. We’ve doubled our production capabilities in the past couple years. Currently, our fabrication shop in Fort Worth features 100,000 sq. ft. of production space. Our final completion facility occupies ten acres of land in Fort Worth, with 45,000 sq. ft. of production space, used for electronics, hydraulics and final testing. We have also recently expanded and upgraded our fully equipped test pad, which allows us to ensure any equipment is fully ready for operation.
